More than 20 multimedia films based on documentary photos and videos by world famous and young photographers will be shown during the exhibition called Planes of Reality.
The winners of the World Press Photo contest, U.S. photojournalist Brenda Ann Kenneally and British photographer Tim Hetherington will take part in the exhibition with their respective documentary projects, The Raw File and Sleeping Soldiers.
Liza Factor, the director of the Objective Reality Fund and the exhibition"s manager, said the "new media" project was a "risky experiment not only in the context of domestic exhibitions, but for international ones."
"However, we believe the Russian public is ready for it. Taking into account our fund"s experience of holding the annual World Press Photo exhibition in Moscow, we have ascertained that the audience is not indifferent to stories of ordinary people, gathered from across the globe," she said.
