Q. This year marks the ten-year anniversary of Russian Fashion Week. Will we see any change in its concept or mood?

A. This Russian Fashion Week will be the 20th season but we are not celebrating that, it’s a job, not a festival. It will differ from the previous Fashion Weeks because of all the new collections. This upcoming RFW will include a British Day involving PPQ, Eley Kishimoto and other designers. The Week will see some special projects: fashion critic Diane Pernet will arrange a fashion film festival and, even more importantly, announce a search for Russian fashion short filmmakers. The All-Russia Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art will hold the exhibition “Extending the Runway: Tatiana Sorokko Style,” to last through May 10. Sorokko, Russia’s first top model, will come to Moscow for the opening.
