Wolfsburg secured the victory after Christian Gentner scored the second goal for the Germans on the last minute of extra-time.

Rubin and Wolfsburg tied the score at 1-1 in their first Europa League meeting in Russia"s Kazan.

Besides Wolfsburg, Germany"s Hamburg, Britain"s Fulham and Liverpool, Portugal"s Benfica, Spain"s Valencia and Atletico, as well as Belgium"s Standard, also made it into the Europa League quarterfinals.
