MOSCOW, May 8 (RIA Novosti) - Russian international Andrei Arshavin has been voted Arsenal fans" player of the month for the second time in a row. In April, Arshavin scored four times in a thrilling 4-4 draw with Liverpool at Anfield. He also scored in a 4-1 win at Wigan and, as the club"s website noted, "continued to rack up the assists for his team-mates, setting up goals against Wigan, Middlesbrough and Portsmouth." Arshavin got 70.4% of the vote, with Cesc Fabergas coming a distant second with 9.3%. The former Zenit St. Petersburg player signed for the club at the start of February after protracted and torturous transfer negotiations, but did not make his debut until toward the end of that month. His agent recently denied saying that other senior Arsenal players were "jealous" of the Russian"s popularity.
